Delphos man pleads not guilty in charges stemming from April shooting in Middlepoint

The 19 year old Delphos man accused of shooting a teenager in a park in Middlepoint in Van Wert County late last month has pleaded not guilty to charges of felonious assault and aggravated riot. Blake Kimmet is accused of shooting the young male victim following an altercation on the evening of April 25th. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. Kimmet was arrested later that night. He is being held on a $500,000 bond. Kimmet will be back in court May 24th.
