By Kevin Sandler

Van Wert County Hospital has announced they will build an outpatient and ambulatory center at the Town Center east of Goodwill. According to the hospital, construction is expected to begin later this summer and be completed in early summer of 2018. The new facility will be called Van Wert Health North. It will be nearly 19,000 square feet. It will feature a walk in clinic, occupational health and imagining services. The Walk in Clinic will help patients with medical issues that require care but do not require a visit to the emergency room. The new project is also expected to create several new jobs.
