Ft Wayne Man Enters Plea in Celina bank robbery

One of the suspects in the September 2016 robbery of the Second National Bank in Celina has pleaded guilty to theft. Court records indicate 23 year old Timothy Rios of Ft Wayne entered the plea this week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. In exchange for the plea, a robbery charge was dropped. Rios will be sentenced June 7th. He faces up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine for his role in the crime. The man accused of commiting the robbery, 32 year old Joshuia Bursey, remains in an Indiana jail on unrelated charges. A third suspect, 38 year old Casey Atkins, is serving a 30 month sentence. No one was injured in the robbery.
