CASSADY DIES


OHIO STATE FOOTBALL LEGEND HOWARD "HOPALONG" CASSADY PASSED AWAY THIS (FRIDAY) MORNING IN TAMPA, FLORIDA AT THE AGE OF 85. 
HE WON THE HEISMAN TROPHY WHILE PLAYING AT OHIO STATE IN 1955. HE WAS ALSO INDUCTED INTO THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME. AFTER HIS FOOTBALL CAREER, CASSADY SPENT 30 YEARS FOCUSED ON BASEBALL WITH THE NEW YORK YANKEES ORGANIZATION.
