NORTHEAST OHIO COMMUNITIES ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO TRY AND PUT AN END TO THE DEADLY HEROIN EPIDEMIC. A CONGRESSMAN HOSTED A HEROIN ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION IN AKRON THIS WEEK AND STARK COUNTY'S SHERIFF WAS THERE.  SHERIFF GEORGE MAIER SAYS IT'S CRITICAL THAT COMMUNITIES CONTINUE TO WORK TOGETHER. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT DIE IN OVERDOSES HAS NOW SURPASSED THE NUMBER OF THOSE KILLED IN TRAFFIC CRASHES IN STARK COUNTY
