MIAMI UNIVERSITY'S NEXT PRESIDENT WILL APPARENTLY COME FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME


IN SOUTHWEST OHIO....MIAMI UNIVERSITY'S NEXT PRESIDENT WILL APPARENTLY COME FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME. MIAMI ANNOUNCED THE LONE FINALIST FOR THE JOB IS DR. GREGORY CRAWFORD, WHO IS CURRENTLY THE VICE PRESIDENT AND ASSISTANT PROVOST AT NOTRE DAME. HE IS AN OHIO NATIVE AND HAS TAUGHT PSYSICS, GRADUATING FROM KENT STATE. CRAWFORD WILL MEET WITH FACULTY AND STUDENTS IN FOUR FORUMS TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK ON THE OXFORD, HAMILTON, AND MIDDLETOWN CAMPUSES. HE WOULD BECOME THE 22ND PRESIDENT AT MIAMI, SUCCEEDING DAVID HODGE, WHO ANNOUNCED HIS RETIREMENT LAST YEAR.
