What's Happening at the Fort Recovery Public Library:

Are you interested in plants? Join us at the Library Tuesday, April 26th at 6:30 PM for a presentation by Nature’s Green Nursery. Get tips and tricks for spring planting and container gardens. This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The Friends of the Library is looking for young men and women that would be willing to wear clothing for the 225 Fashion Show and Tea that will be held Saturday, June 18th at the Elementary/Middle School Auditeria. There are dresses, skirts, suits, military uniforms and more that local community members have shared with us. If you or someone you know is interested helping out, please contact the Library at 419-375-2869. The Tea is sponsored by the area Red Hat Ladies groups.

Novels at Night, an evening book club, will be meeting Monday, April 18th at 7:00 PM at the FR Library to discuss the book “The Mountain Between Us” by Charles Martin. Anyone is welcome to join the discussion. Contact the Library for more information.

The Fort Recovery Public Library will be celebrating National Library Week April 11th – April 16th. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April.  To celebrate and show our appreciation for our loyal patrons, the Library will waive overdue fines up to $5.00 for items returned during National Library Week. Stop by the Library to check out new materials and sign up for great giveaways.
