A COLUMBUS SWAT OFFICER SHOT OVER THE WEEKEND IS STILL FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE. IT HAPPENED VERY EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING -- AROUND 2:30 -- IN CLINTONVILLE. ONN'S VALENCIA WICKER HAS MORE FROM THE OSU WEXNER MEDICAL CENTER.   THE LATEST RELEASE TO THE MEDIA -- SIMPLY ASKED FOR PRAYERS FOR THE THE OFFICER AS HE WAS COMING OUT OF SURGERY JUST YESTERDAY. OFFICIALS STILL HAVE NOT RELEASED HIS NAME BUT, HERE'S WHAT WE DO KNOW. THE COLUMBUS SWAT TEAM WAS SERVING A WARRANT FOR ARSON TO 44-YEAR OLD LINCOLN RUTLEDGE -- AT A DUPLEX BUILDING NEAR WEST CALIFORNIA AVENUE AND NORTH HIGH STREET. RUTLEDGE BARRICADED HIMSELF IN THE BUILDING FOR HOURS BEFORE DETECTIVES SAY HE FIRED AT LEAST ONE SHOT HITTING THE OFFICER. THE OFFICER INVOLVED IN THIS SHOOTING WAS WEARING FULL SWAT PROTECTIVE GEAR. AGAIN -- WE COULD GET AN UPDATE ON HIS WELL-BEING LATER TODAY. FOR NOW, VALENCIA WICKER.  ONN SPOKE WITH THE SUSPECT'S FATHER KEITH RUTLEDGE OVER THE PHONE. HE SAYS HIS SON RECENTLY SPENT THE NIGHT AT HIS HOME BEFORE THE SHOOTING.
