THE TRIAL OF A 17-YEAR-OLD BOY CHARGED IN THE SHOOTING DEATHS OF FOUR PEOPLE AT A HOUSE LAST SUMMER HAS BEGUN


IN CENTRAL OHIO.... THE TRIAL OF A 17-YEAR-OLD BOY CHARGED IN THE SHOOTING DEATHS OF FOUR PEOPLE AT A HOUSE LAST SUMMER HAS BEGUN.  JURY SELECTION STARTED YESTERDAY IN THE TRIAL OF JORDYN WADE. THE TEENAGER IS ACCUSED OF HELPING A 27-YEAR-OLD ACCOMPLICE ROB FIVE PEOPLE, THEN STAND WITH HIS GUN DRAWN WHILE THE ACCOMPLICE ALLEGEDLY SHOT THE VICTIMS. ONE VICTIM SURVIVED. WADE HAS PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO CHARGES INCLUDING AGGRAVATED MURDER, AGGRAVATED ROBBERY AND KIDNAPPING. WADE IS BEING TRIED AS AN ADULT. WADE'S ATTORNEY, ERIC HOFFMAN, SAYS WADE IS NOT ACCUSED OF BEING THE "TRIGGER MAN" AND REGRETS THE LOSS OF LIVES. HOFFMAN SAID THAT WADE IS ASSERTING HIS INNOCENCE BY TAKING THE MATTER TO TRIAL.
