THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL'S OFFICE SAYS THE CAUSE OF A FIRE LAST YEAR THAT KILLED A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY AND INJURED FOUR OTHER PEOPLE TO THE NORTHWEST OF COLUMBUS REMAINS UNDETERMINED


THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL'S OFFICE SAYS THE CAUSE OF A FIRE LAST YEAR THAT KILLED A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY AND INJURED FOUR OTHER PEOPLE TO THE NORTHWEST OF COLUMBUS REMAINS UNDETERMINED. 
JORDAN EDLEY DIED IN THE DEC. 23 FIRE AT HIS FAMILY'S MOBILE HOME IN WOODSTOCK, LOCATED BETWEEN MARYSVILLE AND URBANA. HIS MOTHER AND 12-YEAR-OLD BROTHER AND TWO DEPUTIES WHO TRIED TO RESCUE HIM WERE TREATED FOR SMOKE INHALATION.
THE SPRINGFIELD NEWS-SUN REPORTS THAT THE RECENTLY RELEASED FINAL REPORT BY THE FIRE MARSHAL'S OFFICE LISTS THE OFFICIAL CAUSE AS UNDETERMINED, BUT POINTS TO EVIDENCE THE FIRE STARTED IN THE LIVING ROOM. INVESTIGATORS HAVE SAID AT LEAST ONE OF SIX ELECTRIC HEATERS WAS FOUND NEAR THE LIVING ROOM
