THE DRIVER OF THE CHURCH VAN THAT CRASHED INTO A MOVING TRAIN IN MIDDLETOWN LAST SUMMER, KILLING AN ADULT AND INJURING NINE CHILDREN, HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED VEHICULAR HOMICIDE. IN SOUTHWEST OHIO A BUTLER COUNTY GRAND JURY A GRAND JURY INDICTED 63-YEAR-OLD JUDITH ASHLEY ON CHARGES THAT ALSO INCLUDE VEHICULAR ASSAULT AND ENDANGERING CHILDREN. THE VAN WAS CARRYING VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL STUDENTS AND RAN INTO A CSX FREIGHT TRAIN. THE STATE PATROL SAID GATES WERE DOWN AND WARNING LIGHTS WERE WORKING. ASHLEY'S 62-YEAR-OLD PASSENGER, JANICE MARTIN, WAS KILLED. THE INJURED CHILDREN WERE AGES 4 TO 10. AN ATTORNEY FOR ASHLEY SAID IT WAS AN ACCIDENT AND THAT SHE DID NOTHING INTENTIONALLY
