From the Greenville Police:

*Nuisance Property Shut Down* March 9, 2024 (937) 548-1707 On March 9, 2024, the Greenville Police Department was made aware of a wanted person residing at 127 Virginia Avenue in the city of Greenville. This residence has been the subject of numerous complaints from citizens and investigation of the residence has been in progress since receiving those complaints. On March 9, 2024, Officers went to the residence of 127 Virginia Avenue and arrested 32-year-old Spencer Kouts for a warrant out of Mercer County, Ohio. During the arrest, suspected narcotics were located. The Greenville Police Department conducted a search warrant at the residence and during the search, suspected narcotics along with narcotics paraphernalia was located.

Darke County Children's Services responded to assist with the investigation. Spencer Kouts was incarcerated at the Darke County Jail for the preliminary charge of possession of drugs, a felony of the third degree. The Greenville Police Department remains committed to these types of investigations and encourages our citizens to continue reporting suspicious/criminal activity. Respectfully submitted, Lt.
