    1. The Village’s electric department have been assisting with mutual aid in the Lakeview area. Crews spent three days assisting Lakeview with clean up and repairs to their electrical system. In addition, we provided them with five transformers to assist them with their restoration efforts.

    1. Buehler Asphalt is expected to be in within the next couple of weeks to begin repatching various locations in the Village. There are about a dozen locations where Buehler will be asphalting.

    1. Crews from DWA and Gametime have moved into the Paris Street Park to begin the installation of the rubberized surface under the new playground equipment. In addition, Homan and Stucke will be pouring concrete sidewalks so that the playground is accessible.

    1. Moody’s continues to develop the two new wells for the TDS Dilution Project. They have drilled the two wells and are setting the piping and screens in these wells. Work on the electrical service to these wells will start soon.

    1. Crews are working on installing a new main pump at the pool. This new pump replaces the one that we had several problems with last year. We will need Regals to come in and to do some piping work before the pump can be operated.

    1. Crews from the Public Works Department have replaced a section of curb and gutter at the southeast corner of Ohio Street and Fourth Street. This curb was originally removed while crews fixed a water leak a few months ago.

    1. The county commissioners are holding a meeting on April 9th to discuss the possibility of dredging the canal. I plan to attend the meeting to find out more details.

    1. AMP has notified us that Ryan Halpin of Minster has been awarded a AMP Lyle B. Wright Scholarship. AMP plans to present a $3,000.00 scholarship check to Ryan during a future council meeting.
