Naming Ceremony at Lake Campus

Celina, OH – A ceremony will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. on the campus of Wright State University-Lake Campus to name the east-villa of campus housing in memory of Mr. Richard M. Holmes.

Mr. Holmes attended the Lake Campus and earned two degrees from Wright State University. His mother, worked in the Lake Campus library. After his death in 2022, Mr. Holmes left a significant contribution to the Western Ohio Educational Foundation. 

Since 2012 the Lake Campus has provided lakefront living to students. Nearly two dozen townhouse-style apartments, are nestled on the north shore of Grand Lake St. Marys. The Lake Campus Housing Villas provide the residence life experience for 96 students. These apartments have four or five bedrooms each, furniture, parking, laundry and more!
