Ohio Casino Control Commission Seizes Illegal Gaming Machines

AUGLAIZE COUNTY, OHIO — The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) today served search
warrants on three locations as part of an illegal gambling investigation. OCCC Gaming Agents
launched an investigation after receiving complaints the businesses were operating machines in

violation of Ohio law.

“Illegal casinos operate without proper oversight and prey upon vulnerable Ohioans,” said Ohio
Casino Control Commission Executive Director Matthew Schuler. “We appreciate the assistance of
our local law enforcement partners in holding accountable those who disregard Ohio’s gambling

laws.”

Warrants were served at the following locations:
Grand Luck Gaming in St. Marys.
Lucky 7 in Wapakoneta.
Moon City Gaming in Wapakoneta.

The St. Marys and Wapakoneta Police Departments assisted in today’s operation, in which gaming
equipment, cash and documents were seized. No arrests were made, and the investigation is

ongoing.
