29 year old Dakota Wilges of Wapakoneta has been sentenced to 5 years of community control sanctions after an appearance this week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. Wilges agreed to a plea bargain with prosecutors where a charge of gross sexual imposition was amended to attempted felonious assault. In the original indictment from last year, Wilges was charged with having sexual contact with a victim under 13 years of age.
