Fort Recovery Veterans clubs and other organizations announce Memorial weekend activities. 

The Fort Recovery American Legion post 345 and VFW post 6515 will conduct their Memorial Day service on Friday evening, May 24th at 7:00 P.M. The service will start at the Wabash bridge on North Wayne St. After the ceremony, the veterans groups, scouts,4-H clubs, firemen, band and anyone else wanting to march will then parade to the Veterans park for the remainder of the program. 

The guest speaker from the VFW will give a short speech at the Veterans park. Wreaths will be laid at the cross of the unknown soldier. We will honor our departed veterans with the rifle salute and taps. The Fort Recovery High School band will play the Star Spangled Banner.

Everyone is invited to the Friday evening services. Please fly your flag this weekend.
