On Monday, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office arrested 34 year old Michael Melvin on a 5th degree felony charge of theft by deception. Melvin allegedly stole over 55-hundred-dollars in merchandise from a local store on April 13th. He is being held without bond in the Mercer County Jail pending a court appearance.
