This week, an Auglaize County Jury found 35 year old Juan Rangel of St Marys guilty of rape and 3 charges of gross sexual imposition in the case of an underage female in a series of incidents that dated back several years. The jury found Rangel not guilty on 2 other counts of rape and one other count of gross sexual imposition. Auglaize County Common Pleas Court Judge Frederick Pepple has ordered a pre-sentence investigation and a victim impact statement and has set sentencing for a later date.
