A Fort Recovery man died in a single vehicle accident Friday Morning in Indiana. According to the Jay County Sheriff's Office, 51 year old Gregory McEldowney drove off the north side of the road on Indiana 26 between county roads 500 and 600 east just before noon. McEldowney struck a culvert and went airborne and rolled over several times, striking a utility pole before coming to rest. McEldowney was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. This incident remains under investigation.
