The Celina Police arrested 61 year old  Roger Schmidt of Columbus this past weekend on misdemeanor charges of assault and resisting arrest. According to the complaint filed in Celina Municipal Court, Schmidt allegedly threated to stab someone at a local church and threatened harm. Schmidt is also accused of refusing to walk and to enter a police cruiser as he was being arrested. Schmidt is free on bond pending a court appearance.
