2 Sidney residents were injured Saturday in a motorcycle vs deer accident. According to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened just before 5 pm in the 6000 block of State Route 274. The motorcycle was driven by 50 year old Franklin Ludwig and his wife, 49 year old Tina Ludwig was a passenger. Both Ludwings were ejected from their bike after striking the deer. Both Ludwings were serously injured and were air lifted to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.This incident remains under investigation.
