Waynesfield Man Indicted on Multiple Child Exploitation Charges in Auglaize County
An Auglaize County grand jury has indicted 45-year-old Jerod Michael Ridenour of Waynesfield on multiple felony charges related to the alleged possession and distribution of child sexual exploitation material.
According to court records, Ridenour faces nine felony counts, including:
Three counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor (second-degree felonies)
Three counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor (fourth-degree felonies)
Two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance (one second-degree and one fifth-degree felony)
One count of voyeurism (fifth-degree felony)
The alleged offenses span from January 2021 through December 2024, with incidents reportedly occurring at various times within Auglaize County.
A warrant was issued and served on November 7, 2025, when deputies with the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ridenour and brought him before the Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.
If convicted on all charges, Ridenour could face several years in prison.
