Rockford to Host First-Ever “Holly Day” Celebration at Shanes Park

ROCKFORD, OH — The Village of Rockford is bringing a brand-new holiday tradition to the community with its first-ever Holly Day Celebration at Shanes Park on Sunday, November 23. The event promises a full day of festive activities, shopping, and family fun.

Festivities begin at noon with a Holiday Bazaar, featuring one-of-a-kind gifts, homemade crafts, and seasonal treats from local vendors.

As evening approaches, visitors can enjoy — or take part in — the event’s highlight: a Light Parade, bringing a colorful glow to Shanes Park as the sun sets.

Families attending can look forward to a lineup of kid-friendly activities, including treats, crafts, trolley rides, photo opportunities, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

Organizers say the Holly Day Celebration is designed to bring holiday cheer and community spirit to Rockford as a new annual tradition.
