MED Foundation Outstanding Friend of the Year Announced

The MED Foundation of Mercer Health is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Friend of the Year award: Roger and Lisa Klenke.

The Friends of the Foundation are individuals, businesses, and organizations who demonstrate a strong commitment to the health and well-being of our community. Through annual donations, these supporters help ensure Mercer Health has the resources and tools needed to care for the healthcare needs of local residents. Each year, one Friend is honored for their exceptional generosity and lasting impact.

This year’s honorees were announced at the Mercer Health Charity Ball, where Deb Hemmelgarn, MED Foundation Director and Event Chairperson, shared heartfelt remarks: “Roger and Lisa Klenke have been true friends to Mercer Health and our foundation for many years. Their kindness, generosity, and constant support have made such a difference—not just through their gifts, but through the genuine care and encouragement they share with everyone they meet. It is an honor and a privilege to award them with the 2025 MED Foundation Outstanding Friend of the Year.”
