LOTS FOR SOLDIERS Honors Local Veteran Family with Appliance Assistance
As 2025 comes to a close, Mary Rosengarten with LOTS FOR SOLDIERS marked a meaningful moment of service by assisting local veteran Brian Betts and his wife, Kim, after their stove was no longer safe to use.
The organization accompanied the couple to purchase new appliances, providing a Lowe’s Home Improvement gift card so they could select a stove that best fit their needs. The experience was made even more special with the help of Aaron, a Lowe’s assistant manager and U.S. Army veteran, who offered a discount and additional assistance to support the family.
LOTS FOR SOLDIERS says the visit was a powerful reminder of the impact community support can have on veterans and their families.
Looking ahead to 2026, the organization plans to continue its mission of giving back, thanks to donations and funds raised locally. Community members are encouraged to get involved by donating, volunteering, and spreading the word.
LOTS FOR SOLDIERS says every act of support helps repay the deep gratitude owed to those who have served, and the organization looks forward to saying “thank you for your service” to many more veterans in the year ahead.
