RE: Spring Clean-Up/Drop-Off
ST. MARYS – In conjunction with Earth Day, the City of St. Marys will host its annual spring clean-up/drop-off April 6-18, 2026. This event will give residents an opportunity to discard unwanted items as a way to help beautify the city and to celebrate Earth Day on April 22. As part of the event, the city will have dumpsters placed at the wastewater treatment plant, located off Defiance Road. The dumpsters will only be available to city residents and those wishing to use the dumpsters must provide a current city utility bill as proof of residency. Hours of operation will be noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday for the duration of the event. Household garbage, tires and hazardous materials will not be accepted. Appliances with freon also will not be accepted at the drop-off location. There will be no curbside pick-ups during this event. The city still plans to have its annual fall curbside pick-up later in the year. For more information, call 419-394-3303.
