St. Henry Captures Division VI State Championship with Win Over Canton Central Catholic
The St. Henry High School girls basketball team is bringing home a state championship.
The St. Henry Redskins defeated Canton Central Catholic High School 53-34 Friday night in the Ohio High School Girls Division VI State Championship game.
St. Henry controlled the game to secure the victory and complete a remarkable season.
The Redskins finish the year with an outstanding 27-1 record.
The championship marks the first girls basketball state title in program history for St. Henry and adds another trophy to the MAC’s strong legacy in Ohio high school basketball. To hear WCSM's Ron Brunswick call the end of the game:
