Celina City Council to consider park lease agreements Monday night

Celina City Council to consider park lease agreements Monday night

CELINA, Ohio — Celina City Council will meet Monday evening with a full agenda that includes multiple park lease agreements and regular city business.

A Committee of the Whole meeting is scheduled for 6:45 p.m., followed by the regular council meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 225 N. Main Street.

During the meeting, council members will review and consider a new ordinance involving the lease of park property.

Under new business, council will hear the first reading of an ordinance that would authorize a lease agreement between the City of Celina and C-Town Wings on Wheels for the use of a portion of Eastview Park. The measure includes an emergency clause, which would allow it to take effect immediately if approved.

Council will also revisit a previously introduced measure under old business. That ordinance would authorize a lease agreement between the city and Teresa May for the use of Westview Park. The legislation is scheduled for its second reading after being amended earlier this month.

In addition to legislative items, council will:

  • Review and approve minutes from the March 9 meeting

  • Hear committee reports, including the Committee of the Whole

  • Receive administrative updates from city officials

  • Allow for public comment during audience communications

The meeting will open with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by roll call and approval of the agenda.

The meeting is open to the public.
