Rockford man indicted on four felony counts in Mercer County case

CELINA — A Rockford man has been indicted in Mercer County Common Pleas Court on four felony counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity oriented material or performance. Court documents show Hunter L. Mott was indicted April 16 in case 26-CRM-034, with all four counts listed as second degree felonies.

The indictment lists alleged offense dates of on or about February 4, 2025, March 8, 2026, March 12, 2026, and a fourth count alleging conduct from on or about February 4, 2025 through March 12, 2026. Separate filings show a warrant was issued after the indictment and later executed, with records indicating Mott was arrested April 17.

According to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office inmate listing, Mott is being held in the Mercer County Jail on a $200,000 bond, listed as ten percent, and his next court appearance is scheduled for April 27 at 2:30 p.m. in Common Pleas Court.

An indictment is a formal charge and is not a finding of guilt. The case remains pending in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
