St. Marys Man Facing 14 Sex Related Charges In Allen County

A St. Marys man is scheduled to be formally arraigned Friday, May 22nd, following his arrest on multiple sex related charges in Allen County.

Brian Jennings Sr., 56, was indicted by the May session of the Allen County grand jury. He is charged with 14 total offenses, including four counts of rape, all first degree felonies; five counts of sexual battery, all third degree felonies; and five counts of gross sexual imposition, listed as third and fourth degree felonies.

According to Allen County Court records, the indictment involves allegations of sexual contact with a young child, and the alleged incidents occurred between 2010 and 2020. Jennings is being held in the Allen County Jail on a $350,000 bond.

Court information lists a pretrial criminal hearing for June 1st at 1:30 PM before Judge Jeffrey L. Reed.

The charges are accusations, and Jennings is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
