Fort Recovery Council Approves Bid Process For Utility Extension, Awards Resurfacing Project

Fort Recovery Village Administrator Aaron Rengers says no ordinances or resolutions were passed during the latest village council meeting, but council did approve several project related items.

Council approved moving forward with the bid process for a water and sewer extension project.

Council also approved awarding the 2026 Fort Recovery street resurfacing project to Wagner Paving.

Rengers also reported that Jutte Excavating has started construction on the sidewalk project in Fort Recovery. That project will run along Sharpsburg Road and State Route 49.

Several upcoming community events were also noted during the meeting. Taste of the Town is scheduled for June 18th. Harvest Jubilee will be held June 19th and 20th. Fort Recovery’s America 250 celebration is scheduled for July 25th.

The next regular Fort Recovery Village Council meeting is scheduled for June 1st.
