Midwest Electric’s 89^th Annual Meeting of Members to be held June 4^th  

Free dinner, tethered hot air balloon rides, kids activities, a health fair, $2,000 in cash prizes, a $1,000 scholarship drawing, and more

St. Marys, OH – Midwest Electric is excited to host its 89th Annual Meeting of the Members on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at St. Marys Memorial High School.  Highlights of the event will include dinner for members, energy efficiency resources and displays, kids' games, and bounce houses. CEO Matt Berry will address the members and answer questions.

Midwest is excited to once again have the Touchstone Energy hot air balloon on site to offer members tethered rides (weather dependent). The dinner buffet will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the formal business meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and last about 45 minutes.

During the meeting, members will hear the annual “State of the Cooperative” address from the Midwest Electric CEO, Board President, and the CFO from our power supply cooperative, Buckeye Power. Members with questions can ask the CEO during the Q&A session. Those unable to attend can livestream the event on Midwest Electric’s website, www.midwestrec.com, or the co-op’s Facebook or YouTube pages.

Members will also be able to attend a health fair presented by Grand Lake Health System.
