Celina Bulldogs Win Western Buckeye League Superior Credit Union All Sports Trophy

The Celina Bulldogs have been named the 2025 2026 Western Buckeye League Superior Credit Union All Sports Trophy champions.

Celina finished first in the final standings with 149.5 total points, earning the overall title after consistent performances across multiple sports throughout the school year.

According to the Western Buckeye League, the Bulldogs captured five team championships during the athletic season. Celina won league titles in boys cross country, girls cross country, boys soccer, girls bowling and softball.

The race for second place was tight, with three schools finishing within five points of each other.

Shawnee finished second with 139.5 points. Ottawa Glandorf was third with 136 points. St. Marys finished fourth with 134.5 points, while Wapakoneta rounded out the top five with 128 points.

The All Sports Trophy is determined by cumulative performance across all varsity sports. Teams earn points based on final conference standings, with 10 points awarded for a first place finish, 9 for second, 8 for third, and so on.

The league says the format rewards not just standout teams, but consistent excellence across an entire athletic program.
