New Bremen Village Council approved an emergency resolution Monday night to replace the roof on a village pavilion.
Mayor Bob Parker said the existing roof has experienced problems in recent years, with a number of shingles being blown off during severe weather.
The village will replace the existing roof with a standing seam steel roof at a cost of $146,075.
Cotterman Roofing will complete the project.
Council also heard an update regarding street sign corrections that will be made throughout New Bremen.
Village Administrator Brent Richter said the changes are being made as the village works to comply with Enhanced 911 requirements.
Council also received information regarding local government funding for 2027. New Bremen is expected to receive $101,098.10 through Auglaize County.
During the meeting, council also heard a presentation from Victus Health and Wellness regarding functional medicine possibilities for the village.
Mayor Parker additionally announced that Cider Time will be held October 25, with the parade lineup beginning at 1 p.m. behind the Crown Building and the parade scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Village trick or treat will follow from approximately 3:30 to 6 p.m.
