The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will hold a dedication ceremony next week for a water treatment project in St. Marys.

The ceremony for the Pat McGowan Treatment Train is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2 at 11 a.m. off Aqueduct Road in St. Marys.

City officials say representatives from ODNR will attend the ceremony, and state officials are also expected to be invited.

The treatment train is part of ongoing efforts to improve water quality in and around Grand Lake St. Marys.

Members of the public are invited to attend the September 2 ceremony and learn more about the treatment project.
