Minster Schools to Be Featured During WCSM “Back to School” Program
Minster Local Schools will be featured during WCSM’s “Back to School” program September 21 through 25.
Superintendent Josh Meyer will open the week Monday at 11:30 a.m. with a discussion about the district’s recent successes. Other Monday guests will include 7-12 Principal Austin Kaylor, Director of Bands Jen Beair and students, members of the Battle Bots program with Marcus Hileman and K-6 Principal Mandy Albers.
Tuesday’s program will highlight the gifted program, elementary student council, Character Strong and elementary counseling programs, the eighth-grade Washington, D.C. trip and the district’s mental health class and club.
Wednesday’s guests will discuss the elementary reading program, yearbook, high school guidance services, school nursing, science, the academic team and the Academic Booster Stand.
Thursday’s program will feature Treasurer Gina Selby, the FFA program, a district facility update, athletics and the 7-12 student council.
The week will conclude Friday with second-grade students and new staff members, School Board member Rich Bruns, the district’s technology program and the Juggling Club. Meyer will return at 12:45 p.m. Friday to discuss the district’s future plans.
The Minster Schools “Back to School” programs will air from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. each day on WCSM.
