Minster Schools Schedules Community Forum on Land Exchange and Possible Expansion

Minster Local Schools will hold a community forum and Board of Education work session to provide an update on a proposed land exchange with the Village of Minster.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, at 6 p.m. in the Minster High School gymnasium.

The proposed agreement would provide the school district with 7.3 acres at Seventh Street Community Park, giving the district space to consider a possible middle school expansion. In exchange, the village would receive an approximately 11.4-acre parcel owned by the district near Four Seasons Park.

Superintendent Josh Meyer said the forum will also allow school officials to gather community input on a possible building project that could benefit the district’s academic and athletic programs.
