Rockford Eagles Support Parkway Food Pantry and Rockford EMS

Rockford Eagles Aerie #1292 has made donations supporting two local organizations serving the community.

The Parkway Food Pantry received funding that will be used to purchase a commercial-size freezer. The additional storage will help the pantry preserve food and continue assisting area families.

The Eagles also donated to Rockford EMS toward the purchase of a new LUCAS device. The battery-powered machine automatically performs chest compressions during cardiac arrest, allowing emergency personnel to provide consistent and uninterrupted compressions while delivering other lifesaving care.

LUCAS stands for Lund University Cardiopulmonary Assist System. The equipment is commonly used by paramedics, emergency departments and cardiac catheterization laboratories.

Rockford Eagles #1292 says the donations reflect the organization’s commitment to “people helping people” in the local community.
