Celina-Mercer County Chamber Highlights Upcoming Community Events

The Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce is highlighting several upcoming events across the community, including farmers markets, festivals, a blood drive and activities for the Halloween season.

Chamber Director Stacy Beougher said the Celina Farmers Market will return to the Mercer County Fairgrounds Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon. This week’s family activity will focus on Operation Christmas Child.

The year-round market will remain outdoors through October, weather permitting, before moving into the PBS Animal Health building in November. Additional details are available on the Celina Farmers Market Facebook page.

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office will host a blood drive Friday, October 2, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the sheriff’s office, located at 4835 State Route 29. Donors will receive a $7 voucher for Deaf Dog Coffee, which will be on site that morning.

Blood collected during the drive will directly support Mercer Health. Appointments may be scheduled through the Versiti Blood Center at donate.versitidayton.org.

Downtown Celina will hold its annual Fall Fest Saturday, October 3. The event will feature food trucks, craft vendors and activities for children. Additional information is available through the Downtown Celina, Ohio Facebook page.

Celina Manor will also hold a fall festival October 3 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The public event will include food, crafts, games, photo opportunities and pony rides. Celina Manor is located at 1001 Myers Road.

The Mercer County Fairgrounds will host its Holiday Craft Show Saturday, October 17, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. inside the Grand Event Center. Vendors are still being accepted, with more information available at mercercountyohiofair.com.

Little Locals and the Celina Lions Club are also preparing for the Halloween Parade and Candy Crawl Sunday, October 25, at the Lakeshore Park Amphitheater. Costume judging will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by the Celina Lions Club parade at 3 p.m.
