Tri Star Director Tim Buschur to Step Down at End of School Year

Tri Star Career Compact Director Tim Buschur has announced he will step down at the conclusion of the current school year, ending a career spanning nearly four decades in education.

Buschur said he has spent 29 years at Tri Star, including approximately 20 years as director and one year as assistant director. He credited Tri Star’s staff, participating superintendents, area businesses and the community for supporting the career-technical program throughout his tenure.

Buschur described leading Tri Star as a dream opportunity and said one of the most rewarding parts of the position has been seeing former students enjoy success in their careers. He also expressed appreciation to Dave Brunswick for giving him the opportunity to join Tri Star.

Buschur said he has not decided what he will do next. He will remain in the position through the end of the school year and said several projects still need to be completed before his departure.
