Celina and Minster Lead Local Teams in First OHSAA Football Computer Ratings

Celina and Minster hold the top positions in their respective regions in the first official OHSAA football computer ratings of the 2026 season. The rankings were released Tuesday as teams prepare for Week 6.

Celina, which enters the week with a 5-0 record, is ranked first in Division III, Region 10. St. Marys is eighth in the same region, while Wapakoneta is ranked 11th.

Van Wert is sixth in Division IV, Region 14.

Coldwater is seventh in Division V, Region 18, while St. Henry is tied for 11th in Division VI, Region 24.

Delphos Jefferson, listed by the OHSAA as a Van Wert County school, is eighth in Division VII, Region 26.

Several area teams appear in Division VII, Region 28. Minster is ranked first, followed by Marion Local in third, New Bremen in fifth, Waynesfield-Goshen in seventh and Fort Recovery in 13th.

If the postseason began under the current rankings, every listed local team except Fort Recovery would hold a qualifying position. Fort Recovery is one spot outside the field.

The top 12 teams in each region in the final October 25 report will qualify for the playoffs. The top four seeds will receive first-round byes. The ratings will be updated each Tuesday for the remainder of the regular season.
