Five Defendants Receive Sentences or Treatment Orders in Mercer County Court

Five defendants have received prison, jail, community-control or treatment orders in Mercer County court cases.

Jeremy E. Hague was sentenced to 37 months in prison. Hague previously pleaded guilty to attempted failure to provide notice of a change of address and two counts of violating a protection order. Prosecutors said Hague, a Tier Three sex offender, failed to notify the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office before changing his residence. The protection-order violations occurred in March and May.

Aaron M. Livingston received an agreed sentence of 90 days in jail, with the entire term suspended and credit for time already served. Livingston must not commit any offense more serious than a minor misdemeanor during the next two years. The case was originally filed on charges of felony vandalism and misdemeanor criminal damaging or endangering.

Todd E. Hutchison was sentenced to six months in prison for possession of drugs. The Mercer County sentence will be served consecutively to his current sentence from Allen County.

Devon K. Eastman was placed on community control for three years with standard conditions and ordered to pay $1,250 in restitution. Eastman was notified that a violation could result in a 180-day prison sentence. His case involved breaking and entering, theft, possessing criminal tools and criminal damaging or endangering.

Noah A. Lumadue was granted intervention in lieu of conviction in a fifth-degree felony drug-possession case involving LSD. Intervention in lieu of conviction allows an eligible defendant to receive court-supervised treatment instead of a traditional conviction, provided all program requirements are successfully completed.
