New details released following fentanyl death of Pickaway County toddler
New court documents are providing additional information about the fentanyl overdose death of a 17-month-old Pickaway County girl.
The documents allege that Brittany Stroud was not permitted to have unsupervised visits with her daughter. Authorities said both Stroud and the child tested positive for fentanyl and cocaine when the girl was born.
The child was supposed to be in the custody of Stroud’s mother, Tammy Stroud. Investigators allege Tammy Stroud left the child alone with Brittany while she went to work.
Tammy Stroud is being held on several charges, including complicity to involuntary manslaughter.
The allegations have not been proven in court.
