Traffic Changes Announced for Terrace Avenue Construction in Coldwater

COLDWATER, OHIO — Motorists traveling through Coldwater will see changes in traffic patterns beginning Wednesday, October 28, as construction continues along Terrace Avenue.

Coldwater Village Manager Jason Eyink announced that Terrace Avenue north of Hillcrest Drive will fully reopen to traffic Wednesday. However, the portion of Terrace Avenue south of Hillcrest Drive, directly in front of McDonald's, will close.

Eyink said the new traffic pattern could create some congestion for approximately a week to a week and a half.

Customers visiting McDonald's will still be able to access the restaurant using entrances from Hillcrest Drive and Main Street.

There will also be a change in access to the Coldwater Mall.

Eyink explained that the mall's northern entrance will be available for customers beginning Wednesday, while the southern entrance, which motorists have been using during construction, will close Wednesday morning.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the construction area.

The traffic changes are part of the ongoing Terrace Avenue project in Coldwater.
