Double Homicide Suspect Arrested in Akron, Faces Aggravated Murder Charges

A 25-year-old man wanted in connection with a double homicide in Cleveland was arrested without incident in Akron.

Police say Flock cameras helped investigators track Fedrico Belton’s vehicle to a home on Brittain Road. Akron police, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted in taking him into custody.

Belton faces two counts of aggravated murder stemming from the deaths on Cleveland’s east side Sunday.

According to WKYC-TV, he remains jailed on a $1 million bond. The charges are allegations, and Belton is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
