Data Center Proposed for Rossford’s Crossroads Area

Data Center Proposed for Rossford’s Crossroads Area

A Florida developer is proposing a data center in the Crossroads area of Rossford in northwest Ohio.

According to ONN affiliate WTOL-TV, the facility would be roughly the size of a retail home improvement store. The company is expected to present its proposal to the city’s planning commission.

Rossford Mayor Neil MacKinnon III said the commission will evaluate whether the project is appropriate for the city, including potential environmental effects such as water pollution.

If the proposal advances through the planning commission, it would then go before Rossford City Council.
