Minster Strangulation, Domestic Violence Case Bound Over
A case against Daniel Joseph Dicke, 33, involving allegations of strangulation and domestic violence in Minster has been bound over to Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.
Dicke waived his preliminary hearing October 16. He faces a fourth-degree felony strangulation charge and a first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
According to a Minster Police affidavit, a woman reported Dicke grabbed her throat during an October 3 dispute, briefly preventing her from breathing. Officers reported seeing finger marks on her neck. Dicke denied putting his hands on her.
His bond was continued as the case moved forward for grand jury consideration.
